Just because??

It's funny when you find out that most of what you assume in life is probably wrong. For instance:

Just because you love Pokemon, it doesn't mean everyone thinks it's cool. 

Just because you speak English, it doesn't mean that everyone else does.

Just because you say "lolli"when you're a kid, it doesn't mean that that long truck-like vehicle is gona' change its name for you.

Just because you are feeling happy, it doesn't mean that everyone is willing to listen to you babble about nonsense all day long.

Just because you are depressed, it doesn't mean that everyone will stop to ask you why you are frowning.

Just because English is your first language, it doesn't mean that your English is better than everyone else your age.

Just because you are Indian, it doesn't mean you can't speak Chinese.

Just because you are Chinese, it doesn't mean you prefer speaking Chinese.

Just because you smile at someone, it doesn't mean they will fall in love with you.

Just because they smile back, it doesn't mean that they have fallen in love with you.

Just because you think you look fine, it doesn't mean everyone else agrees.

Just because you like a certain type of girl, it doesn't mean that everyone else does.

Just because you dislike a certain type of guy, doesn't mean that everyone else does.

Just because you believe that you are right, it doesn't mean that you are.

Just because you can't be perfect, it doesn't mean that nobody else can.

Just because you can't make them happy, it doesn't mean that nobody else can.

Just because you post your heart out on facebook and friendster and twitter and blogger, it doesn't mean that anyone will care.

Just because you love them with all your heart and you're close to breaking, it doesn't mean that they will ever start loving you.

Just because you feel that you're the only one who really cares, doesn't mean that they have to start caring for you.

Just because you feel ready to tell them, it doesn't mean that they're ready to hear it.

Maybe I'm just stuck in a rut right now.... But I'm not the intellectual type, so I can't be writing some great piece about some great philosophical theory or how particles CAN move faster than light or how Steve Jobs changed the world and now he has passed on ( Steve Jobs, may he rest in peace... )...

It's funny when you find that the little ( or big ) assumptions you make in life may not be true.. ever... So sometimes, I just try to slap myself, get drunk on happiness and go jump off a cliff somewhere(in my mind)... Never assume.. You might just make an ASS out of U an ME.
